WEEK 7 EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVITY:
SPREADING LOVE AND HONORING VIETNAMESE WOMEN’S DAY (OCTOBER 20th)
On the morning of October 19th, 2026, Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School held its Week 7 Flag-Raising Experiential Activity under the theme “Honoring Vietnamese Women’s Day”, organized by Grade 4 teachers and students.
The program opened with a game called “Mysterious Melodies” that took students on a musical journey through beloved songs about grandmothers, mothers, and teachers. Then, the moving performance named “The Legend of Mother” celebrated the deep love and silent sacrifices of Vietnamese mothers.
Through an informative video about the origins of Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20th, the game “Remember quickly – Answer correctly”, students’ heartfelt reflections and the message of gratitude became clear and meaningful. Children were encouraged to show love, care, respect, and kindness to their grandmothers, mothers, and teachers every day.
The key highlight of the program was Ao dai fashion show titled “The Beauty of Vietnamese Women Through Time” which honored the elegance, confidence, and enduring cultural values embodied by Vietnamese women.
Basing on the themes of love and gratitude, Ms. Do Ngoc Chi, Secretary of the Party Cell and Principal of Nguyen Binh Khiem primary school, shared a heartfelt message with the students: love is expressed not only through wishes or gifts on October 20th, but also through their everyday words and actions. Every student should follow school rules, refrain from running and playing roughly during lunchtime breaks and dismissal time, show care for friends, behave respectfully, and take the initiative to keep themselves and those around them safe.
“When you strive to be better every day and keep yourselves and your friends safe, you give your grandmothers, mothers, and teachers the most precious gift on October 20th.”
Week 7 Experiential Learning Activity concluded with a simple meaningful message: gratitude is not reserved for one special day; it is cultivated through good deeds every day—from showing love and taking responsibility in order to maintain a safe, friendly, and happy school environment.
Be better every day – Stay safe and spread love – The most beautiful gift for grandmothers, mothers, and teachers!
